Pimar design collection aims to disseminate and interpret a unique material: Lecce limestone whose natural elegance gives way to endless forms, facets and lends itself to clever play of light and shadow. Alessio Romano together with De-signum studio coordinated a team of designers to create the collection, interpreting the material and translate it into a heterogeneous collection of interior and outdoor furniture. The entire project has also seen the participation of artisans from Salento, rattan weavers and small local manufacturers; these important contributions, have made possible a “ Km 0” collection. The collection was presented to large public during the Salone del Mobile and Brera design district.
